Your Mission:

Medidata is looking for an Executive Assistant to support the General Counsel and Legal Team. This hybrid position (currently 2 days/week in office) will be located in our New York City office in downtown Manhattan and report directly to the General Counsel. The Executive Assistant will perform diverse and confidential daily executive level administration and will communicate directly with members of the senior executive team. Responsiveness, reliability, organization, and attention to detail are essential, along with a mindset that no task is insignificant. The Executive Assistant will be expected to: - Act as the first point of contact for the General Counsel and support other members of the Legal Team; - Prepare, send, track, and file correspondence; organize digital files; - Schedule meetings and handle meeting-related logistics; plan occasional events; - Coordinate travel arrangements and assist with expense reimbursement; - Become familiar with law firm billing software and work with law firm billing departments; - Maintain the General Counsel's calendar and assist with scheduling for meetings other Legal Team members; - Help with the design and preparation of presentations and other meeting materials.

Your Competencies: - Strong oral and written communication skills; - Discretion and sound judgment; ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive legal and corporate matters; - Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize; - Proficiency in Google Apps (Google Docs, Sheets) and highly skilled using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Powerpoint and Excel; - Reliable, responsive, punctual; - Ability to work independently and proactively; - Accurate and thorough; willingness to monitor and check own work to ensure quality; - Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment.

Your Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience; - Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant; - Experience with law firm billing software is a plus; - Experience at a mid-sized or large company is a plus.

The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $106,000 to $130,446.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata’s non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
