Solution Consultant

We are seeking a Solution Consultant to support in APAC the Dassault Systèmes business related to predictive science, molecular modeling, and simulation in the life sciences industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and be looking to further their professional career by leveraging their technical and scientific experience in a commercial business environment.

• Illustrate how target identification, candidate selection, and lead optimization can be achieved through structure based drug design, phamacophore and ligand-based design, macromolecule design and analysis, antibody modeling, and forcefield-based simulations (CHARMm / NAMD)
• Understand and refine customer’s critical business issues to be able to strategically position the value of our computational science offering
• Manage technical and scientific software evaluations, workshops and demonstrations
• Prepare and deliver presentations to business and informatics representatives, from a scientist to a C-level perspective
• Drive responses regarding Request for Information as well as Request for Proposals (RFI and RFP)

• PhD. in Biophysics, Computational Drug Design, Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Computational chemistry or related fields
• Post-doctoral research or relevant experience in life sciences industry

• Passion for learning
• Solid understanding of drug discovery process with hands-on experience within the life science industry
• Robust understanding of molecular modeling, computational chemistry, and/or computational biology
• Experience with few of the techniques in ligand based drug design, especially free energy perturbation, protein modeling and molecular dynamics simulations, antibody and biologics design, protein-protein docking , QSAR, machine learning preferred.
• Previous Pipeline Pilot experience is a bonus as is the ability to script in Python
• Highly self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a larger team.
• Proficiency in English in speaking, reading and writing is essential and other Asian languages such as Japanese would be extremely beneficial
• Must be able to travel extensively (up to 50%), including overnight and international travel
