The Sr. Director Patient Cloud Alliances with a high level of autonomy will generate, manage, and execute strategic partnerships across Medidata, and work on Medidata-related mergers and acquisitions within the scope of Patient Cloud. You will generate and research ideas, create strategic recommendations, prioritize objectives, plan internal activities, drive diligence and contract negotiations, and support alliance management by collaborating with other functions. You will be directly responsible for engagement from introductory corporate and potential partnership overview all the way through signed partnerships and/or targeted acquisitions. To be successful, you will have deep and comprehensive knowledge of the clinical development and related market and technology landscapes and an ability to think strategically about what strategic partnerships can best drive the Patient Cloud and Medidata businesses.
The successful team member will:

Define mutual goals and objectives and build awareness and support of overall strategic benefits of the alliance.

Partner with Senior Leadership, Product, Technology, Legal, and other teams to assess alliance and other expansion opportunities that support Medidata’s strategic priorities

Provide financial analyses, long-range forecasting and analysis studies associated with potential alliances/partnerships.

Establish metrics to assess the sales impact of partnership options

Work diligently during and after partnerships are established to efficient integration

Lead and coordinate internal resources around alliance relationship management and operational planning to drive alliance execution and growth

Collaborate with both Medidata functions and the Dassault Systemes’ Corporate Development team for mergers and acquisitions.

Your Education & Experience:
● A minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 7 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.
The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City / New Jersey. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location ranges for candidates in locations other than NY/NJ may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $157,500 to $210,000.
