THREAD is a digital health platform enabling remote patient research and care by healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies, and contract research organizations (CROs) via Apple ResearchKit, CareKit and more. THREAD pioneered remote patient research and care with 4 of the first 8 ResearchKit studies including EpiWatch for Johns Hopkins University, The PRIDE Study for UCSF and contributions to mPower for Sage Bionetworks and Mole Mapper for OHSU. THREAD and Medidata have partnered together to provide clients with an end-to-end platform to conduct remote patient research studies utilizing mobile apps, mobile-enabled web and digital health integrations in partnership with Medidata’s industry-leading cloud and mHealth solutions. THREAD’s digital health platform and solutions connect to Medidata via Patient Cloud AppConnect, a software development kit (SDK), that provides the flexibility to gather and process data from nearly any type of application.
