Position Overview

We are seeking a sharp, execution-focused professional to join the Office of the CFO, supporting strategic alignment, cross-functional projects, and finance communications for the Chief Financial Officer. This role sits at the center of Finance, working closely with FP&A,Accounting, and business unit teams to help drive the company's strategic and financial planning cycle, coordinate cross-functional initiatives on the CFO's behalf, and prepare clear, polished materials for leadership, board, and company-wide audiences. The ideal candidate is highly organized, a strong writer, comfortable with ambiguity, and eager to learn the business quickly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the CFO in driving follow-through on strategic priorities across the finance organization.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining the company's strategic plan, working with FP&A and business partners to track progress against targets and milestones.

  • Help prepare content and materials for CFO-level governance, including leadership team meetings, offsites, quarterly business reviews, and board materials.

  • Support cross-functional projects on the CFO's behalf, coordinating timelines, tracking action items, and following up with stakeholders across Finance, Strategy, Sales, and R&D.

  • Contribute to organizational finance messaging, helping draft board narratives, investor materials, all-hands content, and internal communications.

  • Provide coordination support for M&A and corporate development activity, including tracking diligence workstreams and organizing materials in partnership with Corporate Development and Legal.

  • Help prepare the CFO for internal and external engagements, including briefing documents, talking points, and Q&A preparation.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and operating rhythm within the finance organization, and support the resulting improvements.

  • Build relationships across the CFO's direct reports and their teams to help keep cross-functional work moving and flag issues that need attention.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; a quantitative, scientific, or analytical field of study is a plus. MBA or other advanced degree is a plus but not required.

  • Comfort operating across unfamiliar or cross-industry topics and quickly getting up to speed on new subject matter, rather than deep prior exposure to technology or SaaS specifically.

  • Working knowledge of corporate finance fundamentals, including financial planning and reporting; familiarity with SaaS metrics is a plus and can be developed on the job.

  • Strong structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous questions and build clear frameworks and recommendations.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and follow through independently.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing executive-ready presentations and materials under tight timelines.

  • Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable summaries.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build relationships across teams and levels.
