Visual Analytics -- NEW RELEASE
Visual Analytics (VA) is Medidata's offering in the self service and embedded analytics space. With VA, you can explore your data using self service analytics and intuitive visualizations to gain meaningful insights.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
In an effort to streamline our support and bolster our capabilities while maintaining the same level of commitment and service, the Medidata Customer Support issue tracking system transitioned to a new platform on November 15th. You can still call the same support phone numbers, email the same support addresses, chat through Rave EDC, and be directed to the same support teams that have been assisting you for years.
What changes will you see?
- Ticket numbers will change from 1234567 to a CS1234567 format.
- Tickets will be referred to as ‘cases’ and the email formatting of responses may slightly change from what you are accustomed to.

TRAINING & CERTIFICATION
Bringing Learning Closer to the Point of Need
The Medidata Global Education (MGE) is pleased to introduce Progressive User Assist (PUA) in-app videos within Detect to bring learning closer to the point of need. Users click on a “play” icon, located at various points of need within Detect, to launch a video that demonstrates how to perform a specific task.
Providing in-app instructional videos directly within Detect aligns with the following industry learning & development best practices:
- Provides the correct instructional videos at the exact location within the Detect user interface where users need assistance
- Enables users to view instructional videos without needing to search through online help
- Provides a more engaging learning mechanism for whose who prefer visual learning
- Complements text-based instructions for a more well-rounded learning experience
