The Marketing Advanced Analytics Director is an individual contributor role and reports to the Sr. Director of Marketing Operations. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, data governance, marketing, and operations to identify opportunities and deliver analytics solutions using advanced analytical skills. This is a part strategy, part operational role. You'll be expected to initiate and own projects from whiteboard to launch to scale: identifying analytical needs, shaping and conducting analysis, and delivering insights to internal teams. You are responsible for developing and implementing data-driven strategies to drive business outcomes tied to revenue growth or marketing productivity using advanced analytics skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and understanding of the attribution landscape, including econometric modeling, customer propensity derivation, LTV prediction, and CRM databases.
Responsibilities:
- Lead in-depth analysis of marketing campaign performance across various channels (e.g., paid media, email, web, social) to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization; drive budget allocation decisions through modeling (ROI, MMM, MTA), directly influencing marketing spend.
- Move beyond historical, backward-looking reporting to predictive insights and prescriptive recommendations to not only forecast demand but provide specific strategic recommendations to stakeholders
- Build and manage experimentation (A/B testing) frameworks to test hypotheses and optimize marketing strategies.
- Partner with IT to build scalable data pipelines, writing reusable code to cleanse and integrate disparate datasets for long-term analytical rigor.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning applications in marketing analytics, to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency; develop AI-driven insights and automation, not just dashboards; foster data and AI-driven culture by upskilling teams and promoting literacy across Marketing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Mathematics); a Master's degree or MBA is highly preferred
- 10+ years in marketing analytics or data science preferably within the B2B technology or SaaS industry
- Deep expertise in B2B marketing analytics including campaigns, activation, lead scoring, pipeline attribution and digital analytics; strong understanding of ABM (Account-based Marketing), demand generation funnels, and customer lifecycle data
- Proven track record with attribution frameworks, KPI systems, and experimentation programs (A/B testing, MMM, MTA); deep knowledge of advanced statistical methods (econometrics, machine learning, propensity modeling, LTV forecasting etc)
- Strong technical proficiency with SQL, Python/R or SAS; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau) to effectively communicate findings.
- Ability to leverage cloud technologies for scalable data processing and analysis, deep understanding of marketing tech stacks (Salesforce, Google Analytics 4) and cross-system data flows
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex data into clear business insights for technical and executive audiences
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Systems thinking with focus on data quality, metric governance, and privacy-by-design principles
