About the Team:
Our team is responsible for Medidata's randomization trial supply management offering (RTSM). Our customers depend on our ability to randomize, dispense and manage inventory during a clinical trial. We are looking for a proactive, solution-oriented professional who thrives in dynamic environments, can balance priorities, and adapt quickly to change. We focus on solving complex data oversight problems while developing user-friendly solutions. What we do is as much art as it is science!
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on product design with product managers, architects and engineers
- Determine user requirements, functional requirements, data flows, business process flows
- Create epics and user stories and lead story mapping to develop functionality
- Lead sprint planning and grooming
- Partner with project management, engineering and testing to define project delivery timelines
- Prioritize backlog for new feature and enhancement development
- Support cross-functional training and initiatives
Qualifications:
- 8+ years within the IRT/RTSM space; a plus if you have developed and released IRT/RTSM product solutions
- Demonstrated knowledge in setting up Interactive Response (IRT) Systems
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., GMP, GCP, ICH)
- 8+ years Product Management experience defining, launching and iterating lifescience SaaS products
- Experience working with diverse teams of engineers and designers within an Agile framework
- Strong problem solving and issue-resolution skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple and competing priorities in an agile development environment
- Experience translating both business needs and technical needs to appropriate teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and great attention to detail
- Product Manager experience, successfully delivered and supported production products that met revenue and user satisfaction targets
As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location.
The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the NYC Metro Area is $135,000-180,000.
The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the California Bay Area is $141,750-189,000.
The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the Boston Metro Area is $132,750-177,000.
The salary range for positions that will be physically based in Texas or Ohio is $118,500-158,000.
The salary range for positions that will be physically based in all other locations within the United States is $120,750-161,000.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
