About the Team:
The Growth Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the execution of domain growth marketing initiatives and account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns, contributing to the company's revenue growth goals. This role focuses on hands-on execution and collaboration with sales and business development teams.
The Growth Marketing Manager supports domain engagement and demand capture by assisting in the execution of targeted role/segment and if appropriate, account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives to generate pipeline opportunities, drive account engagement, and support pipeline velocity through personalized experiences. This role acts as a key support link between the Marketing and Business Development (BD) teams to assist in delivering campaigns that capture business and drive growth. This role also assists in reporting and measurement of program performance.
Responsibilities:
- Sales & BD Collaboration: Assist in building relationships with product marketing and domain stakeholders together with sales segments (Partner, Enterprise, Midmarket, or MedTech) Account Managers to understand their customers, challenges and objectives. Support the BD and Sales teams to ensure marketing efforts contribute to pipeline and drive revenue growth.
- Domain Support: Working with the Domain Experience Director, assist in the execution of marketing programs that align with specific corporate and domain quarterly/annual objectives leveraging all elements of the marketing mix.
- Event & Trade Show Support: Support the execution of domain demand generation strategies for owned and industry events through targeted lists, compelling offers, and BD follow-up. Assist in maintaining consistent communication with Marketing, BD, and Sales regarding event forecasts and objectives.
- Performance Reporting & Analysis: Assist in measuring and reporting on growth marketing efforts' effectiveness in generating targeted engagement and supporting new pipeline growth. Understand marketing analysis of program performance by segment, using data-driven insights to identify optimization opportunities, and collaborate with Marketing, Business Development, and Sales to implement necessary changes.
Qualifications:
- Experience in assisting in executing marketing plans and programs utilizing email, webinars, digital/inbound marketing, social media, and face-to-face events.
- Ability to assist in implementing communication methods to articulate Life Sciences and Medidata's messages and value propositions to customer accounts.
- Ability to contribute to program execution and problem resolution and follow process-oriented workflows.
- Experience assisting in interactions with Sales organizations, including account executives.
- Basic analytical skills, with the ability to assist in using data and insights to support marketing decisions and optimizations.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Experience of using AI tools e.g Gemini etc.
- Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2-4 years of experience in growth/field marketing, demand generation, or marketing program support, supporting a direct sales force in the B2B / enterprise software industry or equivalent experience.
- Life Sciences experience is desirable.
Location NYC hybrid (3 days in office); Up to 20% travel; mostly US regional-based
The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $79,500 to $106,000.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
