Your Mission:
At Medidata, Offering Management oversees the full lifecycle of a product or service offering – from market validation through go-to-market strategy and ongoing customer value delivery. Offering leaders partner with Product, Professional Services, Sales, Pricing, Legal, Compliance, and others to define the business case, market strategy, and execution roadmap to ensure that Medidata’s solutions align with customer needs, drive growth, and deliver strong ROI.
The Senior Analyst, Offering Management supports the operational execution and cross-functional coordination that bring offerings to market successfully and sustain their impact post-launch. This role combines analytical rigor with strong organizational skills to help the team turn strategy into action.
Key Responsibilities:
● Support offering development: Partner with Offering Leads to document requirements, track deliverables, and maintain alignment throughout the offering development lifecycle.
● Build business cases: Support the creation of business cases through data collection, financial modeling inputs, and analysis of adoption and usage metrics.
● Conduct market & competitive research: Gather and synthesize data on customer needs, market trends, and competitive positioning to inform offering strategy and prioritization.
● Operational Coordination: Help organize project timelines, meeting agendas, and status updates; track risks, dependencies, and milestones to ensure on-time delivery.
● Communicate with clarity: Develop concise, compelling presentations and briefing materials for executive and cross-functional stakeholders.
● Performance Monitoring: Assist in gathering post-launch performance data, customer feedback, and lessons learned to support offering optimization and continuous improvement.
● Drive Offering Analytics: Manage reporting and analytics for the Offering Management team, synthesizing Sales, Cost, and operational data from multiple internal systems.
● Process & Tooling: Contribute to process improvement by supporting the standardization of templates, dashboards, and documentation within the Offering Management framework to enhance consistency and scalability.
Required Qualifications:
● 2-5 years of experience in Life Sciences, Management Consulting, SaaS, or related strategic roles.
● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
● Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to synthesize and present complex topics clearly.
● Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience in offering management, portfolio planning, or product operations.
● Skills in financial modeling, strategic analysis, and business case development.
● Understanding of Clinical Development, Data Management, or Clinical Operations.
● Experience working with Salesforce products and related reporting tools
● Familiarity with Clinical Trial Software platforms (e.g., CTMS, EDC, eTMF)
● Exposure to AI / ML software solutions
● Background in SaaS, life sciences, or healt hcare technology
The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City, may differ based on the local market data in that region.
- The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the NYC Metro Area is $96,000.00 to 128,000.00
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
