Rave Companion Now Available

to All Rave EDC and Classic Rave Studies and Sites

Rave Companion, Medidata’s solution for making Rave EDC (and Classic Rave) data entry easier and faster for your sites, is now available to all partners, studies and sites. Rave Companion creates a floating version of the Rave EDC (and Classic Rave) form, which is always “on-top,” enabling the site user to take it with them alongside any source application/document that they need to get data from. This first generally available release has the “Click” capability, which enables data to be captured from any system or document into Rave EDC* in a single click, without the need for integration.

The Rave Companion Customer Resources Kit is now available to give you an introduction or refresher on Rave Companion. There’s also a link to the Site Resources Kit you can share with your sites to give them everything they need to get started.

Powerful New Features Set Rave RTSM Apart

Rave RTSM stands apart as a unified system with Rave EDC to handle every shape and size of study, from the simplest to the most complex designs. Medidata wants to make life easier for you to support your Sponsors by using the software you already know. Sites use Rave EDC to manage all of their RTSM tasks without having to login to a separate system, while Supply Managers can remain in RTSM. In addition, to ensure that your study goals are met, Medidata’s Rave RTSM experts will be there to support you through the process, whether you build the study or we do.

Medidata Platform Homepage and Navigation Redesign

As a part of ongoing enhancements to the Medidata Platform, the homepage and global navigation will be updated with several user experience improvements! These changes include a more user-friendly interface, allowing customers to access information on the Medidata platform easily through the new unified design and language.

Starting the week of October 15, users will begin to see these changes in pre-release on a self-service basis. This means that customers will have the opportunity to switch between their current homepage experience and the new, user-friendly design, with no outside assistance. Based on their experience, customers are encouraged to provide ongoing feedback through in app options. These changes will be made visible to customers as general availability between November 13-20, 2023 on a self service basis.

Rave CTMS Role-Centric ILTs

To provide a more efficient and focused learning experience, we have introduced a modular approach to Rave CTMS training. Now, you can tailor your learning by choosing role-centric Instructor-Led (ILT) courses that align with your specific roles and workflows.

The existing CTMS End User training has been retired and replaced with three new ILTs, enabling you to gain the product knowledge you need more quickly and efficiently:

Rave CTMS Fundamentals -- Covers the basic Rave CTMS tasks and workflows that apply to all roles. Taken alone, this course provides a comprehensive introduction to Rave CTMS. It also serves as a prerequisite to the other role-based courses. This is a 1.5 day course.

Rave CTMS Study Manager Workflows -- Covers tasks typically performed by the Study Manager role. The prerequisite for this course is Rave CTMS Fundamentals. This is a 1/2 day course.

Rave CTMS CRA/Monitor Workflows -- Covers tasks typically performed by the CRA/Monitor and CTA roles. The prerequisite for this course is Rave CTMS Fundamentals. This is a 1/2 day course.
