NEW! Medidata Drives CNS Trial Success with Cogstate

Medidata has formed a strategic partnership with Cogstate to bring transformative advancements to Central Nervous System (CNS) clinical trials. This partnership combines Medidata’s industry-leading eCOA technology with Cogstate’s renowned scientific expertise to deliver integrated solutions that address the complexity of CNS trials for both sites and patients. Together, we’re enabling seamless workflows that improve trial efficiency, endpoint data quality, and overall trial experience.

NEW! Rave Lite

Rave Lite is a cost-effective and focused version of Rave EDC that supports data capture, data management, and basic data analysis for trials that do not require complex study build and data management for Phase 1 Healthy Volunteers and any Phase IV Observational studies. NEW! Interim Lock Version 3 is Now LIVE

The Interim Lock solution helps customers lock and unlock Rave studies for interim analysis faster, with lower operational costs, and with less friction for sites. Previous features allow for locking and unlocking in bulk, lock-specific visits, excluding specific forms, lock-specific sites, and enhanced customer reports. In V3 you can find: audit locks as the user using Script Utility, locking for certain cohorts, lock visits in folders, re-use of locking parameters, and scheduled locking! Rave RTSM vs Traditional IRT

The Rave RTSM and EDC solution is a paradigm shift from the traditional model of a stand-alone IRT system which is separate from the EDC system. This approach eliminates the need for duplicate data entry and data reconciliation, reduces overall risk, and improves data accuracy, currency, and integrity. This Rave RTSM vs. Traditional IRT Guide emphasizes the contrasting workflows and approaches in screening, randomization, dispensation and supply accountability that Site users experience with each system to successfully execute these transactions.

NEW! Redesigned Home Page Version 2

We’re excited to announce that starting November 4th, the next iteration of the Medidata home page redesign—Version 2—will begin rolling out to users. Over the past year, our design team carefully monitored feedback and usage patterns from early adopters, using those insights to create this enhanced experience.

Version 2 optimizes space and functionality by introducing shortcuts directly in the navigation bar, including recent activity and more. This update will affect only the user’s home page experience at this time.

Key improvements in Version 2 include:

Easier Access to Applications: Access your work faster with a streamlined list of applications. There’s no need to select a specific Study Group upfront—just dive right in.
Personalized Shortcuts: Your recently visited areas are now accessible at any time from the main header navigation, ensuring you can jump back to key tasks effortlessly.
Universal Overview Pages: All applications now share a unified “front page” that provides relevant information at a glance, making it easier to orient yourself within any app.

This month, we are excited to highlight our latest training updates for Rave CTMS which include three (3) new eLearning Courses, accompanied by five (5) new ‘Show Me Videos’ covering the end to end workflows, and updated Instructor Led Trainings which include the workflows for Monitoring Visits. Monitoring Visits allows a CRA to efficiently create their site visits, as well as confirmation and follow-up letters.
