Overview
Medidata Rave Study Design and Build Essentials - Data Managers (SDBE for DM) focuses on the Rave fundamentals required to manage and maintain a study. This course focuses on the basic Rave fundamentals required to develop and update the eCRFs of a study. Attendees will learn basic eCRF development skills, simple data validation development skills , and be introduced to tips and practices for study design. They will also be exposed to functionality in additional modules such as Global Library (to facilitate the reuse of study components ) and Architect Loader (for offline editing and study transfer).
One or more assessments are included in each part of this course. Attendees must pass the assessment(s) to obtain credit for the course.
This course is taught using the latest released version of Classic Rave or Rave EDC. Please confirm the Rave version for instruction when requesting this course (for private sessions only). Starting in 2019, all public sessions are taught using Rave EDC.
Note: The combination of this Study Design and Build Essentials - Data Managers course along with the Study Design and Build Essentials - Data Validations course will be accepted as a substitute for the Study Design and Build Essentials course for those seeking certification.

OPTIONAL FORMAT
For Instructor Led Classroom scheduled sessions, the first day of this course can be taken remotely. The remaining two days will be taken the following week in person.
We recommend a maximum of 10 students to allow the trainer to give time to each student individually.
We can allow a maximum of 15 students, however this is not recommended as the trainer will not have time to be able to concentrate on each individual student.
Recording of Global Education training sessions is strictly prohibited. Any attempts to record training will result in an immediate stoppage of training until recording is terminated.

Remote offering is 5 half day sessions. Instructor Led Classroom style is 3 days. Note: For the Instructor-Led Classroom option, an Instructor-led Web-based option is available for the 1st day of training only. The remaining portion of the course will be a Instructor-led Classroom.
