Medidata Designated as Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality by Human Rights Campaign Foundation for Third Consecutive Year

February 3, 2021

Medidata, a Dassault Systèmes company, announced that for the third year in a row, the company has received a perfect score of 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index (CEI). This national benchmarking tool evaluates corporate policies, practices, and benefits pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer employees.

“This recognition as an inclusive and rewarding workplace for LGBTQ employees is very meaningful to Medidata,” said Naveen Bhateja, chief people officer at Medidata. “We are committed now and forever to fostering the health, wellbeing, happiness, equality, and advancement of all of our employees — and that means taking every measure to ensure that  LGBTQ+ colleagues are welcomed and encouraged to bring their whole self to work.”

The CEI rates companies on detailed criteria falling under four broad categories: workforce protections; inclusive benefits; inclusive corporate culture and corporate social responsibility, and responsible citizenship. Because Medidata’s corporate policy and culture satisfy all CEI criteria, the company is considered a “Best Place to Work” for LGBTQ Equality.
