About the Team:
Medidata’s Paid Media team provides the “glue” to deliver exceptional digital marketing programs across multiple marketing teams (brand, solutions/experiences, events). As part of the larger Experiential Marketing team, we support both North America and EMEA by working closely with stakeholders to deliver digital activation from campaign ideation and budgeting through execution and reporting.
Responsibilities:
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing strategies and delivering best-in-class digital programs in support of business priorities. You will be working in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment leveraging all available paid media channels, programmatic tactics and content syndication programs to achieve objectives.

The role requires strong attention to detail and project management skills and the ability to work across teams and time zones.
- Oversee agency relationships to ensure on time and on budget delivery of programming
- Work closely with marketing managers to develop and deliver plans to meet their goals
- Manage digital budget from initial planning through reporting
- Complete regular analysis on campaign performance including suggested recommendations for further improvement
- Develop a build and test approach to identify new channels and publishing partnerships
- Apply a relentless focus on program optimization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional cross-functional skills to work in a matrix organization
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- High-energy mindset that enjoys juggling multiple projects simultaneously
- Good at building effective working relationships
- Prior experience of delivering campaigns within prescribed budgets
- Work experience within technology and/or life sciences sector is a plus
Qualifications:
- Requires 5-7 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree. Concentration in Marketing, Digital Marketing or Marketing Communications
- Experience supporting digital marketing approaches for b2b technology offerings
- Digital marketing experience through various media channels is required
- Experience running demand generation campaigns within the LinkedIn platform specifically
- Prior experience working with and/or managing agency relationships including planning, execution, budget management and reconciliation
- Demonstrated success working cross functionally
- Strong project management experience
The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $79,500 to $106,000.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
