Your Mission:

The Commercial Financial Analyst will provide business support for Medidata’s Mid-Market GTM Segment.

  • contract consumption tracking

  • commercial business support

  • reporting and analysis and support monthly closing activities.

  • This team member will also provide reporting information to external and internal customers as well as assist in the resolution of billing, AR, and consumption related inquiries

  • Liaise to ensure effective internal communications on Mid-Market Commercial Operations

  • EXAPP review, provide analysis on financial impact and recommendation to Approver

Your Competencies:

  • Proficiency with office automation software (MS Office Suite)

  • Prior system experience using Salesforce, Workday, Tableau or other financial and Business Information Systems a plus

  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills

  • Ability to work with dynamic concepts and work independently 

Qualifications: Education and Experience

  • 4-year college degree required, or equivalent experience
  • Over 2 years work experience in a financial capacity
  • Public accounting, consulting, or equivalent FP&A experience preferred
  • Proficiency with office automation software (MS Office Suite)
  • Proficiency with Tableau or related business intelligence and analytics software      

The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City.  As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location.  Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $66,000 – $88,000.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
