About the Team:
A Medidata Global Client Executive develops and drives growth in partnerships with various US-based CROs to achieve sales and account growth objectives, through the sales and delivery of Medidata Products & Services. Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction consistent with Medidata business principles.
The role requires a clear understanding of the Clinical Trials R&D environment, an understanding of enterprise SAAS based solutions, clinical trial implications and clinical systems environments. In addition, it is important to have practical experience of the Sponsor/CRO outsourcing process ideally combined with experience of working with CRO partners to develop and leverage new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage new and existing CRO Partnerships, and contribute to the development of strategies and processes to better engage, support and manage those partners
- Develop broad adoption of the Medidata platform within the assigned territory to drive regional growth
- Coordinate with regional sales executives and account managers to develop, win and close partner related sales opportunities
- Orchestration of Medidata and Partner resources for Operations, Sales and Professional Services around the world to ensure success of all Medidata's Partner and Sponsor business activities
- Proactively engage with prospective partner organizations interested in transacting business or initiating a strategic partnership
- Execution of regularly updated and jointly developed Partner/Medidata business plan
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years demonstrable success in complex enterprise software sales
- Hands-on experience working with Sponsor Outsourcing, CROs, channels or an alliance program
- Bachelor's Degree in the Life Sciences, Engineering or Computer Science preferred, Masters Degree or higher a plus
- Successful Biopharmaceutical industry and/or clinical R&D sales experience
- Self-motivated, demonstrating an ability to assume responsibility and work autonomously in a professional manner
- Demonstrated ability to work with and manage relationships with peers, customers and partners at a C-suite / executive management level
- Ability to listen, think logically, strategically, and tactically to solve complex problems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with remote teams in distributed, international environments
The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $135,000-$155,000
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
