Your Mission:
The People Technology Analyst will be a key member of the People Technology team, partnering with the HR Leadership to help set and maintain the HR Technology roadmap. This position will also partner with the other HR CoEs, as well as other departments in the enterprise, as an HRIS SME to analyze current configurations, and improve these to leverage the return on technological capabilities. This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional area and assists with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, integrations, reporting and process improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
Working knowledge of People Soft or knowledge of integrating PeopleSoft with Workday is preferred. Partner with HR subject matter experts and internal customers to design, support and execute HR processes in Workday. Ensure a clear understanding of the overall business requirements; assist with prioritizing requests, confirm requirements, and make recommendations to enhance processes using best practice solutions in a timely manner. Assists in development of reports for ongoing business needs. Serves as back-up to Reporting and Data Analytics Team. Act as escalation point for user-reported issues. Educate users on enhancement opportunities and process improvements through new functionality. Work closely with internal teams to identify requirements, design, configuration, testing and deployment of Workday functionality. Maintain accuracy, consistency, and integrity of HRIS processes and data by regular data audits & clearing integration error logs. Accountable for all technical deliverables including technical design specifications, diagrams, flows, and documentation of all configuration changes. Develop and provide training for all users.
Your Competencies:
Workday HR admin experience Knowledge of integration of systems (especially HRIS systems), data mapping and HR process workflows Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Workday, PeopleSoft, Workday Report Writer, SOAP requests. Experience with HR data conversions Strong communications skills (written and verbal)
Your Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field strongly preferred. 3+ years of Workday experience, preferably in a global setting. 5+ years of overall professional experience
The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $66,000 - 88,000.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata’s non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
