Your Mission:

Medidata Solutions, a provider of technology solutions for clinical trials and life sciences research, is looking for a dynamic Managing Partner to lead our sales team focused on our strategic accounts. Reporting into the EMEA VP of Sales, the Managing Partner will lead a senior level team, develop sales strategies, manage client relationships, and ensure the achievement of sales targets across our strategic accounts. 

Your Role:

·              Develop and implement the sales strategy with a focus on increasing revenue and achieve sales targets within our strategic accounts.

·              Lead the sales team focused on providing guidance, and performance feedback to maximise personal and team performance.

·              Build, maintain and drive growth within key clients, including pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, CDMOs and life sciences entities.

·              Identify new business opportunities, assess market trends, and develop strategies to expand the customer base and increase market share.

·              Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, promotional materials, and campaigns to support sales efforts.

·              Monitor and analyse sales metrics, pipeline, and forecasts to ensure accurate reporting and provide insights for decision-making.

·              Guide the negotiation and closure of large-scale deals and contracts within our strategic accounts, working with legal and finance teams to ensure favourable terms and conditions.

·              Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to anticipate market shifts and adjust sales strategies

·              Foster a culture of, accountability, and learning within the sales

·              Collaborate with our teams, including product development, customer success, and implementation, to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.

Your Education and Experience:

·              Experience with sales leadership roles focused on accounts in the healthcare or life sciences industry.

·              Understanding of the clinical trials landscape and the challenges faced by pharmaceutical and biotech companies.

·              Experience leading high value complex sales cycles.

·              Demonstrated ability to develop sales strategies that increase revenue and achieve our goals within strategic accounts.

·              Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.

·              Ability to analyse sales data, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform decision-making

·              Travel to meet with clients and attend industry conferences and events.

·              Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree or equivalent work experience.

·              Remote working contract.
