Who we’re looking for:
The Patient Cloud Marketing, Sr. Director leads the development of awareness level activity in support of Patient Cloud Product Marketing programs. In partnership with the Patient Cloud leadership team and Medidata Marketing teams, He/She is responsible for the development of Patient Cloud specific customer insights, go-to-market plans, value props, messaging and content. This role will be responsible for the overall execution of marketing programs across channels and marketing tactics with the ultimate objective of driving awareness and building preference among prospects to help create sales opportunities.
This position will report to the Campaigns Marketing lead. Candidates should be equally comfortable with data analytics, market research, results analysis, tactics optimization and content creation. This position requires a poised and seasoned self-starter who can execute with minimal direction as well as take initiative; a builder who can create strong working relationships, processes, and outcomes; adept at working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Specific activities may include:
- Collaborate with product and broader marketing teams on go- to-market launches; including the development of positioning, messaging, internal and external communications, and integrated brand promotional activities as needed.
- Use Competitive Intelligence to analyze and report competitor capabilities and initiatives.
- Collaborate with Marketing Operations, Solutions, Digital and Paid Media teams, to monitor and report on key metrics and insights related to in-market activity to help the Patient Cloud team optimize their marketing activity.
- Conceive and create thought leadership and educational content to broaden the awareness, understanding and opportunity creation for the Patient Cloud offering.
- Be in the market often so you are at the pulse of customer and patient needs and how our evolving offering needs to be shaped to meet those needs.
You should be someone who:
- Consistently works with abstract ideas or situations across functional areas of the business.
- Through assessment of intangible variables, can identify and evaluate fundamental issues, providing strategy and direction for major functions.
- Has an in-depth knowledge of the functional area, business strategies, and the company’s goals.
- A strong collaborator and effective communicator with proven experience building effective integrated programs.
Requirements (Education & Experience):
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing or life sciences
- At least 10 years of experience in product marketing and/or patient/site/sponsor communications.
- Proven track record with DCT product launches and industry thought leadership
The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $157,000 – 180,000.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
