What are we looking for:

Implement enhancements, investigate and fix the root cause of application, performance, or other issues - design and implement fixes/improvements to our Rave product to solve the issues for our products/customers, such as performance issues. Enhancing the monitoring/diagnostic capabilities of our product. The majority of the work is usually with backend technologies, but not always.

Requirements (Education & Experience)

  • 7+ years of C#.NET, ASP.NET Webforms or MVC and Microsoft SQL.
  • 5+ years SQL performance analysis experience, using profiler to find and resolve slow sql
  • Ability to develop and communicate complex performance issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • 7+ years of C#.NET, ASP.NET Webforms or MVC and Microsoft SQL.

  • Ability to develop and communicate complex performance issues to technical and non-technical audiences.

Other Pertinent Skills:

  • Experience with SQL indices, statistics, query plan analysis
  • Experience with performance analyzing C# code (i.e. dottrace, ANTS profiler)
  • Experience working with code repositories such as GitHub.
  • Experience working with Visual Studio .NET
  • Experience using bug-tracking tools such as Jira.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins/GitActions/Hudson.
  • Working knowledge of XML and related technologies.
  • Experience working in a Scrum agile software development environment.
  • Experience working in regulated environments.
  • And debugging skills.
  • Manage multiple, diverse projects simultaneously.
  • Must be flexible, independent and self motivated.
  • Architecting functionality in a moderate scope

As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location.

The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the NYC Metro Area is  $98,000-$141,488. 

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata’s non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
