About the Team:

As Senior Compensation Analyst you will manage the global end-to-end annual compensation review process from planning through execution including merit, promotions, performance, and bonus payout. You will be a strategic and operational compensation partner to key stakeholders to understand our needs and identify necessary solutions. Conduct market analysis and use market insights to support strategic compensation decision.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to streamline partnership and process ensuring fair and review of job offers.
  • Build and deliver Total Reward education, training, communication, and change management plan that support HRBP, Managers and employees in understanding of total rewards philosophy and programs.
  • Prepare procedures to insure the achievement of equitable and competitive employee compensation.
  • Manage incentive and bonus plan design and administration.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of federal and state legislation influencing compensation and benefits.
  • Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company.
  • Participate in corporate M&A Projects (e.g. development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, and people.)
  • Partner with HR Technology team on system automation and enhancement
  • Develop and implement compensation programs that support overall business strategy to attract and retain the right talent.
  • Work across-functionally to participate in projects based on the requirements and global compliance needs.

Qualifications:

  • The minimum education level required Bachelor's degree.
  • 8+ years' experience managing compensation analysis and/or administration in a public company.
  • Advanced skill level in Excel/PowerPoint
  • Experience with compensation in a high-growth organization with a understanding of compensation principles, strategies, and practices.
  • analytical and quantitative skills to manage large sets of data with the ability to interpret and present compensation data and insight.
  • Experience prioritizing and leading projects in a collaborative environment.
  • delivering pressing daily needs with an eye towards achieving long-term objectives
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, business, human resources management, or related field
  • Understanding of economic and accounting principles and practices and the analysis of financial data
  • Communications effectiveness, including verbal, written, presentation and persuasion skills.

The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $114,750 to $153,000.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
