Our Team:

You will help our engineering team expand and maintain a Randomization and Trial Supplies Management application ("RTSM"), allowing clients to randomize trial participants and manage trial inventory. This solution has been helping clients with their clinical trials for over 10 years.

Who we’re looking for:

An engineer who is passionate about application deployment and monitoring, and who wants to stay current with new technologies and engineering concepts. Your primary responsibilities will include hands-on development of RTSM deployment pipelines, understanding pain points and creating and implementing solutions to address those pain points. We use Travis, GoCD, SumoLogic and AWS services like MSK, ECS and CloudWatch. Our goal is to achieve a fully automated, zero downtime blue/green deployment, and we need your help!

Design, build, test, document, deploy, monitor, and maintain applications in a production environment.

You will work with Agile team members, collaborating with developers, testers and with product managers to turn great ideas into detailed requirements. This is not a “throw it over the wall” environment: you will report to a manager who also manages application engineers.

Most team members are based in NYC out of our Soho office, but this position is also open to remote candidates.

Requirements (Education & Experience):

  • 3+ years experience working with cloud deployments (here, you will use AWS).

  • Experience with the following a plus:

  • Observability, monitoring and alerting experience

  • SumoLogic (or some other log aggregation tool) dashboards

  • Error tracking, continuous profiling and user monitoring
