Our Team: 

Medidata is looking for individuals who will help us tackle some of the most complex questions facing the industry today using our proprietary platform and advanced analytics. At Medidata, we never work alone. This role will partner heavily with all of the key stakeholder functions including product, delivery, data science, engineering, partnerships, and biostatistics. Successful Medidata AI candidates will be skilled in analytical/quantitative thinking, structured communication, and excited about building the next horizon of Medidata’s mission to power smarter treatments and healthier people.

Who we're looking for:

  • Participating in client-facing consultative sales processes, understanding client needs and strategically supporting them as they shape their long-term data linkage initiatives, often spanning multiple therapeutic areas or entire portfolios. 

  • Supporting global account managers and specialist sales teams, providing subject matter expertise, proposals, and account strategies. 

  • Perform research and analyses drawing insights to guide decision making on product strategy, prioritization of features, customer engagement, and product commercialization 

  • Collaboration with Medidata Link Product Managers and project management teams to ensure that product development is in line with industry needs, and effective sales to service handovers respectively. 

  • Collaborate with other teams to drive strategic initiatives, including marketing, sales enablement, process improvements, and represent Medidata at industry events. 

  • Help develop internal and external communication materials, translating and summarizing technical information for diverse business audiences 

  • Outstanding structured and critical thinking Proactive self-starter with a passion to innovate on a new product offering 

  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively Superb organization and project management with a relentless drive to get things done even in the face of ambiguity and complexity 

  • Customer centric mindset, with communication skills adept at conveying complex information to stakeholders across wide ranges of technical understanding and seniority

Requirements (Education & Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree (in a scientific, healthcare, quantitative, or business discipline (business administration, management information systems, computer science, engineering, statistics or a related field)) and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or an advanced scientific degree; or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated creative problem solving, analytical and organizational skills
  • Experience working with organizations in the life sciences and/or healthcare sectors
  • Ability to manage work in teams of widely varying skills and levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, great attention to detail

The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City.  As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location.  Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $96,000.00 to $128.000.00

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission under the terms of applicable plan documents, while many of Medidata’s non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
