Our team

This position is for Patient cloud eCOA team working on the patient facing technologies.  This team is working on the latest tools and technologies developing a next generation SaaS solutions and native mobile apps using the technologies like Reactjs, AWS, lambdas, Swift & Kotlin .

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking an experienced, senior level Web UI Engineer to help Medidata create amazing, cloud based, high performing web applications for our suite of products. The software you will build will be used to help our clients create life changing drugs and medical devices. Specifically, you will work with our Patient-facing product development team which is building Medidata’s next generation web and mobile products that will revolutionize the way clinical trials are conducted.

Your Competencies:  

We want engineers: 

  • Who are passionate about writing high quality code, keeping up with best practices, and delivering great products

  • Who have built multiple creative and innovative solutions using JavaScript

  • Who produce quality code that advances standards 

  • Who create PRs that are more than just code; they evolve the patterns on our platform

  • Who expand our narrative library of BDD features, in partnership with Business Analysts and Testers

  • 3+ years experience developing software

  • Experience with vanilla JavaScript, CSS, and HTML

  • Experience with Single Page Application libraries or frameworks such as ReactJS or AngularJS

  • Experience with front end testing frameworks and libraries such as Jasmine, Mocha, Karma, Chai, Sinon

  • Understanding of how to build functionality in JavaScript without jQuery framework 

  • Debugging tools and techniques

  • Understanding of the DOM

  • Knowledge of cross browser support

  • Command of your editor, Git, and other development tools

  • Bonus: Open source community conventions and involvement

  • B.S. or M.S. Computer Science, Engineering, related field or relevant experience
