Our team is committed to delivering solutions for improving overall study build process and enabling more effective data management processes by decreasing study build timelines, improving quality and promoting usage of standards. Our customers depend on our ability to provide centralized study design and metadata. We focus on solving complex real-world problems while shipping practical solutions.

Who we’re looking for:

An Architect who can provide technical leadership in the design and development of the Medidata Platform product, focusing on areas that span different subsystems. An architect is expected to make high-level decisions about coding standards, integration patterns and common tools and primitives. An Architect is expected to act as a “super developer” in providing technical direction to the engineers and development managers in the Engineering team.

  •  Acts as the bridge between business goals and the realized system.

  •  Architects are the owners of the technical system and work with product, business, engineers, ops, hosting, to deliver sustainable, reusable solutions that meet customer needs.

  • Extensive experience rolling out architectural processes in a multi-cultural environment

  • Experience with relational database architecture, schema design, and development

  • Ability to establish, implement, and enforce appropriate technology standards

  • A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.

  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $135,000-$180,000

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
