Our Team: 

Medidata is looking for individuals who will help us tackle some of the most complex questions facing the industry today using our proprietary platform and advanced analytics. At Medidata, we never work alone. This role will partner heavily with all of the key stakeholder functions including product, delivery, data science, engineering, partnerships, and biostatistics. Successful Medidata AI candidates will be skilled in analytical/quantitative thinking, structured communication, and excited about building the next horizon of Medidata’s mission to power smarter treatments and healthier people.

Who we're looking for:

  • The Technical Content Strategist, Connected Patient Platform - Product Core is a key role in a dynamic team of product managers, software engineers, quality assurance managers, and business experts.  Our software platform encompasses a suite of industry leading technology to power a wide range of software solutions related to clinical trials and patient care including medical image reviews, surgical planning, telehealth, integration with healthcare systems and data analytics.  The Technical Content Strategist works closely with multidisciplinary teams to continually enhance the user documentation that accompanies our software products and solutions.
  • The ideal candidate is an organized, disciplined self-starter who is excited to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise user content and thrives in fast moving environments. They want to understand how the documentation they are preparing fits into the big picture and they are energized by providing solutions that improve our user’s experience. Experience with Saas solutions is a plus as is a familiarity with clinical research.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (both spoken and written)

  • Ability to work on multiple assignments under tight deadlines while quickly learning new tools and processes

  • Familiarity with tools such as: Confluence, Jira, Google Analytics, Acrolinx, Pendo 

  • Experience working in an Agile environment preferred

Requirements (Education & Experience):

  • Three to five years writing experience, preferably with software or online systems, both in  technical writing and API Documentation.

  • Bachelor degree in English, Technical Communication, Engineering or scientific discipline strongly preferred. A Master’s degree is a plus

The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City.  As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location.  Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $79,500 - 106,000.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission under the terms of applicable plan documents, while many of Medidata’s non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
