Who We're Looking For:


Reporting to the VP, Data Operations, you will provide program management across AI teams to support the qualification, selection, onboarding and management of our technical vendor partners. Working with our partners you will oversee vendor operations to assure seamless delivery of services and data to support AI's growing portfolio of analytics products including Synthetic Control Arms and Intelligent Trials.

  • Lead qualification, selection and oversight of vendors and contractors to grow Acorn technical operations and achieve our business goals

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Standards and Product leaders to assure supplier resource capacity, deliverable quality and adherence to committed timelines

  • Engage team members in Engineering, Standards, Product, Legal and Finance to manage comprehensive vendor onboarding, maintenance and offboarding processes

  • Setup and manage extended workforce project teams with associated processes to ensure successful execution from concept to completion

  • Manage contracts to mitigate risk and ensure successful performance

  • Foster supplier relationships including leading regular supplier governance and business reviews

Requirements (Education & Experience):

  • 5+ years experience working in pharmaceutical and biotech technical program management, specifically with CROs, engineering suppliers and data providers

  • MBA or equivalent degree

  • Sourcing experience in indirect categories, contract negotiation and supplier management

  • Competence using integrated ERP software such as Workday and PeopleSoft

  • Knowledge of purchasing practices including compliance, oversight and risk mitigation

  • Well-versed in contract terminology and use of standard purchasing terms and conditions

  • Experience working with diverse, international partners

The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City.  As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location.  Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $135,000-$172,907.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission under the terms of applicable plan documents, while many of Medidata’s non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
