Your Mission:

Reporting to the SVP, Professional Services, you will be responsible for setting vision and direction for your international teams. You will enable your teams to deliver client satisfaction through Professional Services delivery. You will help the existing professional services team continue to expand their external client engagement into a world class department that will support itself through its' own revenue generation. Medidata will support a remote working location for this role if required.

  • Oversee the existing Partner Professional Services delivery team and all associated client accounts
  • Take our existing business to new heights through solution upselling and delivering a seamless and efficient operation too
  • Be passionate about growing and scaling a business.
  • Understanding our Customers feedback and driving change based on this insights
  • Work with our Client Services Principals to create and oversee the business delivery plan
  • Work with the Marketing and Sales team to develop specific regional offerings and campaigns driving the sale of those offerings
  • Become a key member of the leadership team in Medidata, utilising internal relationships to help grow the business and the team
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Facilitate and grow incremental and rapid adoption of Medidata software and services with new and existing customers
  • Oversight for client’s delivery progress and metrics across your business
  • Serve as a consultant, trusted advisor and escalation point for issues raised by clients
  • Responsible for achieving delivery time frames for all active projects and within financial guidelines
  • Grow and maintain a catalogue of referenceable clients from beginning to end of the project life cycle.
  • Manages direct reports (i.e., hires, trains, appraises rewards, motivates, disciplines, creates Performance Improvement Plans).
  • Collaborates as an active team member with other products and services departments, plus Sales, Finance, Human Resources, Customer Success and Product Development as required.

Your Competencies:

  • Commercially focused leader who has experience transforming the performance and operating model to build further success (both revenue growth and client satisfaction).
  • Experience managing complex software implementations
  • Consulting and engagement management skills
  • Deep understanding of Clinical Research
  • Expert knowledge in project management methodologies
  • Excellent project and customer management skills.
  • Able to understand modern and complex IT environments.
  • Ability to become a ‘super-user’ of Medidata’s product.
  • Technical Communication: Ability to create and present reports for distribution to a wider audience of individual contributors, line management and executive management
  • Experience with data and tools used to manage customer service organisations
  • Experience working in an enterprise environment
  • Willingness to travel 50%+

Your Education & Experience:

  • Senior leadership experience in managing complex software implementations (Clinical Industry experience a plus).
  • Undergraduate or Graduate degree in related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
