Your Mission: 


Key to this role is the ability to inspire, motivate, and manage global product engineering teams championing cloud native architectures and engineering excellence. In this role you will interact directly with internal and external stakeholders driving alignment on strategy and program execution. Your leadership and innovation are key to building and launching industry-leading health technology solutions that will touch millions of people. This role requires exceptional leadership, organization, and technical acumen working across domains and technologies. This is a highly visible role with potential direct interaction with market leading customers, strategic partners, and various internal leaders across R&D Product and Engineering, Customer Success, and Professional Services. You will work closely with executive leadership to drive product development in key and strategic areas.

Your Competencies:

  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand and communicate effectively with technical staff, business stakeholders and senior management.

  • Expertise in cloud native architectures and technologies to drive technology decisions for scalable and secure health technology solutions

  • Ability to collaborate, build relationships and influence individuals at all levels in a matrix-management environment (as well as partners and service providers)

  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to perform under pressure and management of multiple priorities with competing demands for resources.

  • Cloud expertise (preferably AWS) with strong understanding of SaaS models.

  • Experience operating in a secure networking environment, leveraging production support and SRE teams is a plus

  • Lead large development teams to design and deliver new and strategic products

  • Work across brands, functions, and leadership to create next generation solutions and experiences that leverage capabilities across Medidata and Dassault Systèmes

  • Interact with clients and strategic external partners to shape opportunities, solutions, and roadmaps

  • Manage complex build plans to deliver on strategic R&D priorities and new business opportunities

Your Education & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in progressively responsible roles within the technology function.

  • Proven senior engineering leadership, identifying, designing, developing, implementing and supporting technology solutions.

  • Life Science/Clinical Trial Data background preferred but not required.

  • An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in computer science / engineering or a related field.
