TRiNDS is a specialized contract research organization (CRO) dedicated to conducting high quality clinical trials in neuromuscular and rare diseases.

TRiNDS offers expert dedicated solutions in trial management, clinical monitoring, site management, data management, study outcome measures, and other neuromuscular specific clinical research services. Our expertise has been drawn from the academic clinical trial network: The Cooperative International Neuromuscular Research Group (CINRG) for which we remain the Coordinating Center. TRiNDS bridges gaps for neuromuscular and rare disease clinical trials by engaging with key leaders in the field.

TRiNDS was established to meet the unique needs of neuromuscular research and drug development. Our founders and board members represent two patient organizations and scientific leaders. We leverage our experience from rare neuromuscular disease research to create the tools and systems needed for efficient clinical trial success. We understand the need for being flexible and creative to reduce the burden of clinical trial participation and yet maintain the safety and overall integrity of the projects. We offer dedicated and unique solutions such as our standing neuromuscular focused Data Monitoring Committee, our certified genetic counselors who provide central review and confirmation of participant’s diagnostic eligibility, as well as other domain-specific solutions. TRiNDS offers specialized support to match each project’s unique needs while maintaining inspection-ready study documentation and quality oversight.
