Updated Medidata Balance Randomization Design course available

As part of our overall initiative to update existing Balance eLearning courses, Medidata Academy is excited to present the updated Medidata Balance Randomization Design eLearning course.

This course reflects the new UI and content for the randomization process, and explains:

  • Difference between Dynamic Allocation and Permuted Block Randomization
  • Types of Dynamic Allocation Randomization (Second Best Probability and Complete Randomization)
  • How to Configure Randomization Designs in Balance

This course has replaced the existing Balance Randomization Design course on iMedidata in English and Japanese. This has had no impact on current course completions or study access for external clients.

We have also updated the show-me videos for Adding Study Arms, Adding Randomization Factors, Selecting a Randomization Method, Balancing Randomization, and Configuring Supply Check. These are published on the Knowledge Space with the Confluence update made on October 28th.

We strongly encourage students to review this revised course, as it would benefit all users to familiarize themselves with the concepts and process of Randomization in Balance.

For any questions regarding the course content, please reach out to us at academy@mdsol.com.
