ILT Courses:

Announcing the New Rave CTMS Role-centric ILTs

To better meet the needs of Rave CTMS customers and to align with an industry best practice, Medidata Global Education is happy to announce role-centric Instructor-Led Training (ILT) courses. Customers are now able to choose CTMS ILT training best suited for their specific roles and workflows.

What’s changing? 

The current ILT (CTMS End User training) is retired and replaced by 3 new ILTs: 

• Rave CTMS Fundamentals 

• Covers the basic Rave CTMS tasks and workflows that apply to all roles. Taken alone, this course provides a comprehensive introduction to Rave CTMS. It also serves as a prerequisite to the other role-based courses. This is a 1 1/2 day course.

• Rave CTMS Study Manager Workflows

• Covers tasks typically performed by the Study Manager role. The prerequisite for this course is Rave CTMS Fundamentals. This is a 1/2 day course. 

• Rave CTMS CRA/Monitor Workflows

• Covers tasks typically performed by the CRA/Monitor and CTA roles. The prerequisite for this course is Rave CTMS Fundamentals. This is a 1/2 day course.

How does this improve the learning experience?

• Value

• Quicker time to adoption for Rave CTMS customers, with participants learning topics directly applicable to their role

• Time Efficiency

• More time spent on topics directly applicable to a learner’s role, and eliminating those topics that are not. For example, a Study Manager’s training time is now reduced from 3 days to 2 days.

• Workflow/Role-based

• Focused on performing role-specific and workflow-specific tasks, rather than feature and application-based topics

• More Hands-on

• • • Reinforces learning by introducing more hands-on practice and real world examples

• Aligns with Big Picture CTMS Strategy

• Aligns with the Rave CTMS role-based strategy

UPDATED RAVE EDC STUDY BUILDER CERTIFICATION LEARNING PATHS 

Global Education announces the following changes to the Rave EDC Certified Study Builder learning paths in English. The same updates will be applied for APAC region later this year. These changes reflect the insight and feedback received during the global pilots conducted for this certification program:

Recertification Learning Path Updates

This updated learning path supports existing Classic Rave Certified Study Builders who are working towards becoming Rave EDC Certified Study Builders. 

• The Rave EDC Study Builder Prep Course is now recommended, but optional for existing Classic Rave Certified Study Builders only. 

• A new eLearning “Medidata Rave EDC Certified Study Builder Certification Assessment Overview”  is hosted on the Certification Platform, and is mandatory for all certification candidates. This course provides guidance on the certification assessments  and platform. 

New Rave EDC Certified Study Builders Learning Path Updates

This updated learning path supports certification candidates who have no prior Rave study builder certification. 

• The Rave EDC Study Builder Prep Course remains mandatory in the New Rave EDC Certified Study Builder learning path, since it provides new study builder candidates the opportunity to review critical elements of the study build process, and clarify any remaining questions with a Medidata Training Specialist, supporting successful completion of the certification program assessments. 

• A new eLearning “Medidata Rave EDC Certified Study Builder Certification Assessment Overview”  is hosted on the Certification Platform, and is mandatory for all certification candidates. This course provides guidance on the certification assessments  and platform.
