Certification Migration Update: Additional Certifications and Locales Added to GaugeOnline

Medidata Global Education (MGE) is pleased to announce the availability of additional certification programs on our new hosting URL using GaugeOnline, by Test.com. The Medidata Classic Rave Certified Study Builder and Medidata Classic Rave Certified Study Administrator certification program will be available in Chinese later this year.

What is GaugeOnline?

GaugeOnline is an online hosting platform, known for its customization options and flexibility to address end-users’ needs, making it easy-to-use and intuitive. Medidata Global Education selected this platform to match the changing needs of our end-user certifications, and allow increased flexibility and scale within MGE.

What are the features of GaugeOnline?

GaugeOnline has the following features:

“At-will” Exams - Once enrolled in a program, candidates can access and complete a certification exam at any time that is convenient for them, within 60 days of their registration. Retakes and exam time-limits will now be automatically managed by GaugeOnline, reducing time spent submitting ticket requests.
Access to Exam Certificates - Candidates will no longer have to request a copy of their certificates. All certificates will be available in their user profiles.
User Profile Amendments - Users can edit their personal profile information (Name, Email, Country) without an email request.
Enhanced reporting on user results and test performance, allowing us better insight into a learner’s level of understanding, and test validity

What is the status of the Medidata Payments Study Administrator certification?

Effective immediately, we have retired the Medidata Payments Certified Study Administrator certification program. This retirement was not taken lightly and was due to conversations with the Professional Services’ Product Adoption and Optimization team, the similarities between the Study Administrator certification and the Study Builder certification, and a review of the current interest in the certification.

Please keep in mind that the Medidata Payment Certifications in this post are based on Classic Payments within CTMS.

How to Enroll

To enroll in a certification program, please contact your Medidata Project Manager/Representative. They will facilitate your enrollment and access to the required prerequisites (eLearnings and/or Instructor-Led Trainings). An explanation of the required prerequisites for each Certification can be found on the Medidata Certifications page.
