Session Title: “The Future of Data Management in Clinical Trials”

In this presentation, de Vries will address data management in clinical trials with a focus on adaptive methodologies within the scope of both single clinical trials and the management of multiple compounds and portfolios. This presentation will provide a look at the increasing adoption of EDC and how prospective cleaning and analysis of data will continue to enhance earlier decision making and collaboration across geographic and linguistic borders. Additionally, de Vries will highlight how the roles of monitors and data managers may evolve as EDC and clinical data management systems merge, and as electronic health records are used as a direct source of subject data.
