Omnicare Clinical Research Joins Medidata Solutions’ ASPire to Win Partner Program
Global CRO Formalizes Existing Relationship to Expand EDC Service Offering
NEW YORK, N.Y. – January 22, 2009 – Medidata Solutions, a leading provider of clinical trial solutions, today announced that global clinical research organization (CRO) Omnicare Clinical Research has joined Medidata’s ASPire to Win® program. The program will allow Omnicare Clinical Research to expand its electronic data capture (EDC) capabilities and Medidata Rave® expertise along with management and reporting software solution and positioning.
Omnicare Clinical Research is a leading Phase I through IV CRO with diverse therapeutic expertise and a comprehensive scope of clinical services. With locations in 30 countries, the CRO has also built a global business platform including eClinical Solutions for its sponsors. Omnicare Clinical Research joined Medidata’s ASPire to Win program to establish a broader menu of Rave-related services that they can independently deliver to their customers.
Medidata’s ASPire to Win program selects, trains and accredits CROs and other organizations to deliver Medidata Rave clinical trial technology along with their own project and data management expertise. The program offers these organizations the choice of four enablement levels -- Rave Aware, Rave Ready, Rave Accredited and Rave Accredited Plus. Omnicare Clinical Research has elected to attain the most advanced level – Rave Accredited Plus – in order to provide customers with a full suite of Rave services, including end user training, study build, reporting, integrations and migrations.
